I have a FileMaker Pro 6 issue with IWP. Buttons that call scripts in external files do NOT work in IWP. They are fine in normal FileMaker, but when the button is clicked in IWP (the cursor becomes a hand, as it should) but no results follow the click.

Has anyone else experienced this?

In attempting to work around, I used the 'Open' script step for the external file, as this seems to work properly in IWP. OK, if you only ever do one thing in that file, but I want to pass values for scripts to operate on.

In itself, this is easy, but I have set a script to run when 'Companies.fp5' is opened but the script doesn't run. I have set line 1 to be a message box - which doesn;t appear on opening. If I perform the script expicitly -no problem.

Any ideas out there?

scripts+IWP = "the thing that is about to thit the fan...."
what is this cript supposed to to...open file and that is it?
u can specify that on the Edit-Pref.-Document and run the script on the open of the file...however do not try to run this (1st) script through the IWP. Timeing of scripts over web in general ( and *especially IWP) is really bad.....maybe u can post your script... :)
