Hi guys,
I need a little help with setting up the Instant messenger under exchange 2000.
I have it all configured and can log clients in...however it would appear that when trying to talk across domains that do not share an active directory there is a problem communicating.
Is this expected..or should disparate domains which share an Exchange server and as such as IM server be able to talk.
in my instance I have 2 domains
bcnukdomain (NT4) with our domain clontroler which everyone logs into
bcndata.com (2000) our domain controller with exchange on it.
I can get clients on the nt4 domain to log into the im server..and send msgs to the 2000 domain, but msgs coming back are ALWAYS lost.
HELP!!!!!!
