I am search around the web and I can't seem to find this answer. What is the limit of instances that SQL server 2k have? I found one that says 16, but that is for the desktop enviorment.

SQL BOL states, "The maximum number of instances supported in SQL Server 2000 is 16."

This applies to desktop, standard and enterprise editions so far as I can determine. Terry L. Broadbent
