First you have to check if the "X" is installed at all. Open Scoadmin -> Software -> Check Software, i don't sit in front of an sco box right now so it might be examin software or something like that 
If you dont have the X components IE the installation you have is an lightweight, then all you have to do is put in the cd and chose Scoadmin -> Software -> Install new. And simply install all of the X components.
Then you will be prompted about the wich mouse you use and so on.
