I downloaded all the Ximian files to a CD, and then followed the install intructions, and when I select local media the installer tries to go onto the internet (I am on the internet already), to verify the package dependencies but it will not link up to the servers and tells me to check my connection, but I can surf the net and stuff. Is my fire wall to high? If so, how do I change that? Im on RH Linux 7.1. Please help!
