installing windows 98

how long does it take to install windows 98 off a cd.
i formatted my computer and put they boot disk in and typed the command d:/setup
will this start the process of installing windows and will i have to do anything else.
is this they only step, are there any more commands that i have to put in.

should be about the only step, and time it takes to install depends on your computer, microsoft will always say 30 to 60 minutes just to get it installed, but it may take you upto a couple hours after installing to get drivers for your hardware, as well as setting it up to the way you want it.
