Hello

I have a Windows2000 non bootable Cd.

I have no floppy disks.

I have Windows XP on My C: drive and I want to install Win2000 on the Empty NTFS D: drive

Could anyone help me out with the process ?

Cheers

Thanks for the Info, but I have no Floppy Disks

sounds like you have a pirated copy, all 2000 cd's from MS are bootable. CCNA MCP NET+ A+

Supatech,

The information you have given is INCORRECT

The first versions of Windows 2000 were not bootable.

Please do not make comments on things when you do not have the correct information.

hello
i sugest you start windows Xp , and then on windows xp run windows 2000 <CD-ROM>\setup.exe , and finaly begin custom setup to choose correct partition."D"

only you need install windows 2000 from windows Xp and determine which drive you want to install

If I remember correctly there is no setup on that CD. Drop to a command prompt then change to the i386 directory and type in "winnt".
