Hello, my corporate network is currently running SAV CE 9.0 and I'm wanting to upgrade to 10.0, however when I try to upgrade my Primary Parent, I get the error SSC is installed. I have uninstalled SSC from Add/Remove along with following the manual uninstall method from the SAV website with no success. So unless someone has figured this one out, I just bought a new server and I would just like to install a whole new Server Group and put all the clients in a new server group on this server since it doesn't have any prior installs on it. Is this possible to do? Is it as simple as doing a new clean install on the new server and using remote install to migrate the clients or is there more to it? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Adam

Totally possible - but dont upgrade to 10.0 - go to 10.1, 10.0 has some serious issues.

Install the new Server Group - Make sure you upgrade your SSC to the latest and greatest. At that point, yes - just drag and drop your clients to the new server group. Make sure to go to the new Parent Server properties, and place a check next to 'Manage 9.x and earlier clients'
