i just started working for a new company and my job was to recreated an application which was written in vb 9 years ago. i recommanded my boss to let me write the application in visual studio .net using c# with sql 2000 server for the backend db and crystal XI for the report.
he was happy and granted my request now my question is if the application is stand alone and only being using with in the some company ( about 10-20 computers) which edition should i be using for the following softwares?
(crystal report-standard/professional/developer/server?)
(sql 2000 server-
enterprise or standard edition/developer edition/personal edition?)
(vs.net-enterprise/developer/professional/academic?)
and how does the site lisence work with in a business?
and where would i find information about that?
