Hello There
why i am getting the following message when i am trying to install my program
"Setup can not continue because some system files are out of date on you system. Click
OK, if you would like setup to update these files for u now.
You will need to restart windows before you can ren setup again"
The setup file for this program was created using VB's Package and Development wiz
when i was creating the Setup file I was in Win XP
and when i tried the setup on other XP machines ohter than the one used to create it , it works perfect.
but now i am trying to install the same program on Win 2000 advanced server and i keep getting the above message when i say ok go ahead update the fils and it restart the computer but
it keeps given me the same message (this messgage keeps coming on win me as well)
I checked the version for msvbvm60.dll it is the same version
as the one i have on the xp machine
when i was using Inno Setup to create the setup file
i did not have this problem but since i have a data
reporter in the program i could not get to work it
out with inno therefor i am stuck with P & D wiz
any help is appreciated
