I am installing sudo on a HACMP cluster. I am using the toolbox software that comes with AIX. I know I must install this on both nodes, but is there anything else that I should be aware of. I do not want to disrupt HACMP.

You should be fine. You can install softwares on HACMP cluster like any normal machine!

For the SUDO it won't even hurt if you install it on one machine but it is always better as you said to keep both nodes having the same structure.

Unless you want to use the SUDO command in one of your hacmp startup/stop scripts then you should be fine! (even in this case you have to update the scripts accordingly)

Good Luck.

Regards,
Khalid
