Hi,
I've been trying to install SQL Server 2000 on windows 2003 and have been experiencing some problems. I've installed it using the default setup and have applied service pack 3 as instructed on the microsoft site.
In Enterprise manager i can create a new database and a new table. However if i use the option Open table > return all rows i get the following error.
The query cannot be executed because some files are either missing or not registered. Run set up again to make sure the required files are registered.
I've tried following the instructions above, and i've also uninstalled sql server and reinstalled it again.
I'm probably missing something really simple but it's driving me mad. any ideas?
