This is a good one. I recently installed SQL Server 2005 Express on my new laptop. It's Windows 7 Home Premium which is 64 bit OS.
I was able to successfully install the engine and the SQL Server mgmt. Studio.
However, when I went to attach a new database, I discovered that the sa user didn't have any rights to the "model" database. Anybody come up with this in the past? I have the software on my other PC (XP SP2) and the Model DB is accessible.
Thanks in advance,
Jerry Scannell
