Have a machine that has XP Pro, and logs into Win 2000 domain. When someone other than the person who installs the software logs on they cant see all of the programs installed. Does anyone know if there is a way to install a program and make sure everyone who logs on can use it? other than putting a shortcut to the program into "C:\documents and settings\all users\desktop"

Most installers when installing on NT/2000/XP machines allow you to select whether you want to install it as you or as anyone. That's really the only way to do it because it actually installs it creates the shortcuts for all users. You can however right click on the start menu button and select open all users or explore all users and then move the shortcuts you want all users to be able to open to that folder. You will have to do it as a user who has the privledges to do that though. John D. Saucier
