Installing SMS 2.0 on W2K member server in NT domain?

Can SMS 2.0 (SP 5) be installed on a W2K member server in a NT 4.0 domain? If so, do I lose any functionality by doing this?

I do not want to install on one of my NT DC's because at some point I will be physically replacing these machines with W2K AD servers.
