Hi,

I'm trying to upgrade to Samba 3.0.24 on Solaris 7 but I'm getting an error message when I run the makefile. I noticed that some of the Samba dependencies are geared towards Solaris 9 and there aren't any corresponding dependencies for Solaris 7. Are there patches or workarounds or is this just a lost cause?

Are you downloading packages or compiling by hand? I have Samba 3.0.21b running on Solaris 8 and I had to compile it by hand (Wanted it to authenticate against Active Directory).
