I am having trouble installing Platinum for windows 4.7 on a windows 2000 worksatation. I am recieving an error message pertaining to user.exe. however, if I install NT4.0 and install Platinum then upgrade to window 2000 all works fine. does anyone have any answers for this problem?

What is the specific error message? Are you logged in to the local machine with administrative rights?
