Hi,

We have just upgraded to our own dedicated server, that has MySQL installed as default, but no PHPMyAdmin.

The server has several virtually hosted sites on it.

I guess this is a simple question but I just can't get my head around how a MySQL server works on this sort of setup.

1. If I were to install PHPMyAdmin, would I have to install an instance of it under every account? Or can one instace of it serve all accounts?

2. Do I need to know exactly where the MySQL data is stored? Or will localhost do?

Thanks in advance
Aaron
