Is there any distro that can still use PHP4?

Here is the situation. I have an old database that was coded by a former employee. It is running physically on a machine that is old, and likely to die in the next few weeks. The system is running an old version of redhat and PHP 4.0.4pl1. I want to move it to a VM. I've tried transferring the DB to a system using PHP5 but it seems the code will not work with PHP5. VMWare P2V utility won't work on this old machine so I need to create a new VM and move the database over.

We're in the middle of developing a completely new DB that will replace this old one but in the meantime, if something were to happen to the hardware in the machine, the DB would be gone. Also, there seem to be some error messages cropping up on the machine running the DB so I wouldn't want to transfer those problems to the VM.

I've tried Ubuntu 10.04, 6.06, 4.10. Using apt-get or aptitude did not find the PHP4 package to install. I was able to download PHP 4.4.9 from the main PHP website and get it installed from the source files but libapache2-mod-php4 did not get installed and I can't find that package anywhere.

So, back to my original question, is there a distro that can still install PHP4? I've found various pages that give instruction on doing this but they are all years old and the repositories are no longer showing PHP4 as an option.

Thanks in advance for any advice.
