Moving to an environment where I no longer have root on my RHAS4 box. Generally speaking, what do I need to tell the new admins to do with my sudo access to allow me to install all of my needed perl modules so they will work for all of the users on the box? I've never had this problem before b/c I always been root. (any issues with DBD::Oracle and setting env variables like ORACLE_HOME?)

Do I just need to make sure that sudo has the below?
"Make sure you have the appropriate permissions to install the module in your Perl 5 library directory"

...should I just make sure that I can rxw to:
/usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0 or
/usr/lib/perl5/

Any other obstacles that I should look out for?

Thank you!
