We've been running Oracle 7.3.4 on SCO 5.0.5 forever! We just bought a bigger box, so I installed SCO 5.0.7 on it. Unfortunately, the Oracle install fails in the link stage! Just like the 5.0.5 server, I installed the Openserver Delevopment System prior to the Oracle install (as required). I've tried a few times with the same result. Clearly a few things have changed since 5.0.5. Any tips, hints, or nudges in the right direction?

Note: we have a 3rd party tool that links into Oracle 7.3.4 so therefore can't use a newer version.

-with thanks

It may be a different thing, but I have seen many "link" errors that were due to insuficient swap space.
See if you have a swap space of at least 1.5 GB in size (you can do a "swap -l"(I think!!) to see the space). If necessary create a file to use as swap (see man swap).
If the above does not affect you
