Hello,
I have a laptop that has 2 partitions, and Win 98. When I install Office 97 onto this computer, a msgbox comes up telling me that the setup could not add a line to the Autoexec.bat file, and that I should add it. So I did (it points to the folder where Office resides). Now, I have a problem where I cannot open any Office programs without drilling down in Windows Explorer to the .exe file. I have no problems with the programs when I do open them with the .exe file, but when I try to open them with shortcuts, I get "There is not enough free memory" errors and the programs do not open. I have no other programs open and minimal items running. Any suggestions?
Thanks a lot!
