Hi,
I am trying to install Office 2000 on a Windows 2000 Terminal Server. I have followed all of the instructions from the Microsoft KB, including:
1. Server is in Application mode.
2. Ran from Add/Remove Programs.
3. Used the TermSrvr.MST file from the Office 2000 Resource Kit.
Despite all of that, I still get the error message:
Some default settings in Microsoft Office 2000 setup do not work properly on a Windows Terminal Server. To install Office on Terminal Server, you must use the instructions and tools available in your Office 2000 Resource Kit or at
When you click OK, another error message appears:
Installation ended prematurely because of an error.
When you click OK again, Setup quits.
Using the MST file is supposed to solve this error, but I get it despite using the MST file. Has any else encountered this problem?
Any help is appreciated.
