This is the first time I havent had Office installed on our computers upon purchase. I am going to buy the office 2007 suite, but do I need to buy a copy for EVERY computer? I not asking for legal advice, i'm just curious if the Office 07 software can be used on multiple computers with one CD? Of course i'd have the liscence key, but just that one. I know my friend told me Office 2000 could be installed on any machine as many times as needed with one license key...

I not asking for legal advice ...

My question is, are you asking for advice on doing something illegal?

Cheers, Glenn.

Did you hear about the literalist show-jumper? He broke his nose jumping against the clock.

What can actually be done - or what could be done with Office 2000 - isn't really the issue. What you allowed to do with the licence(s) you buy is the relevant question.

See for more details

Enjoy,
Tony

You can make multiple installations, but you will only be able to activate one successfully. After 30 days or 60 openings of Office applications, it will go into lock down mode. This will let you read existing documents (or whatever) but you will be unable to save, print or edit.

So without additional keys, you will be wasting your time!

If you want to make multiple installations over a network without needing multiple keys, you need an Open Licence version.
