Installing O.B fax /messaging fax not possible?

Hi all

We face some difficulties trying to install a messaging fax system with Aastra/Ericsson Messaging FAX server.
First we tried with RightFax 8.5 and Win 2000 SP3 and NO SQL. SQL is not needed in this version.
This worked OK.
Then, next, we continued with the same server now running Windows 2003 SP1, SQL 2005 SP2 and RightFax 9.3.
SQL is needed for this s/w version of FAX server.
BUT this "combination" did not work!
The FAX board will not start
The FAX board used is: Brooktrout TR-114-P1L (P=pcmcia).
The same FAX board was used in the RightFax 8.5 installation, and here it worked.
Maybe you have seen this issue before and can give me some hints??

Added info: The FAX board Brooktrout TR-114-P1L is on the white list for Aastra/Ericsson Messaging FAX server 4.2 i.e. Rightfax 9.3.
