installing NT on DL360

Hi,

I am trying to install NT 4.0 on DL360 with Smart Array 5i.
I've downloaded Compaq driver for Smart Array 5300, pressed F6 during the setup, selected the driver and the installer has even accepted it.

Still the installation process goes into a blue-screen after a few installation steps more.

Any ideas what should be done?

Why don't you use assisted installation from the smart start cd. Run system erase then start a fresh installation. It's very smooth sailing and all nic, video etc. etc drivers will be automatically installed, even diagnostics tools will be installed.
