Installing Norton Antivirus 2007 over 2006

hi experts,

I have NAV 2006 installed and tried to install 2007 from the install CD.

It says "another application is running, ait for it to end..." or something like that. Later the install ends with "Application failed to initialize properly"

Does that mean NAV 2007 did not install ?

Any ideas?

(Actually, I'm helping my dad - 500 miles away over the phone. He is having the problem, not me.)

This has been resolved. We did get 2007 installed, after a lot of hassles.

Good to know you have it fixed.
FYI, you have to uninstall Norton using their tool first, then install the new version.
