Installing new NIC with Solaris 2.6 on Sparc 10

Can anyone tell me how I configure a new network card on Solaris 2.6? I've got the new card installed, but how do I configure it? The machine already has one running perfectly so I don't want to mess that one up. I need to set the new NIC to a different IP address on the same subnet. Thanks! I tried 'ifconfig -a' but it only shows the existing NIC. Any ideas? Thanks!

have you type boot -r

which will redetect all hardware in eeprom?

you have to have it in the ok prompt..

just halt the system and you will be in the ok prompt

or

hit stop-a
