Hey folks,

We are trying to install a new Nortel 3.7 hard drive in BCM1000 at one of our customers.

The BCM has 4 PEC1 cards and 256 or Ram so I believe we are good there

The issue is that we can ping the default IP address. but we can not get into the BCM using unified manager. We have tried both NICS and IP's.

The Hard Drive has been partitioned fine which we checked on old PC.

Any thoughts?

Have you tried to login using the serial port and doing a MSC core INI.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Also you can check the Config to see what the IP address are set for.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

He said it is a 3.7 so it must have it.

Tanks for the reply's guys. I can log in using a serial checked all LAN IP's and everything is default.

I am alittle unsure about the reference to MSC Core INI.

The 3.7 is a new Hard Drive with the Image. I even checked the partition info.

I have tried both IP adresses and still can lot log in through unified manager
