I have a handful of NT 4.0 SP6a servers. I am trying to install the NetBackup 5.1 client. When the client installs and the registry setting for HKLM/System/CurrentControlSet/Services/NetBackup INET Daemon/ImagePath
Is correct and has the path "C:\Progra~1\VERITAS\Netbac~1\bin\bpinetd.exe"
Then the service starts and Netbackup installs. However, if ImagePath has this for a setting "||||+", then I cannot start the service and when I change to the correct path, I try to start the service and I get- Error:0003 The system cannot find the path specified. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

You installed Netbackup client 5.1 on Win NT from scratch.
That should be work.
The Netbackup client setting stored on Windows registery.
If you had changed some registery parameter related with netbackup client. That will cause the netbackup client can't work on Win NT.

Cheers...:)
