I was wondering if someone can help clear some things up. I want to set up both RH9 and Mandrake on one HDD.

This is my planned partition setup:

dev/hda1 /boot 50 MB (shared by both)
dev/hda5 /Swap 1024 MB (Shared by both)
dev/hda6 /root-RH 5000 MB
dev/hda7 /root-Mandrake 5000 MB (Mandrake)

I will install RH first with LILO as bootloader on the MBR. This is no problem. What I am unsure about is:

1.How do copy the necessary information so both distros can share the same /boot partition? I am sure that installing Mandrake onto the /boot will override RH right?

2. How do I edit the LILO.conf file so that I can get both to boot from the LILO menu.

I would really appreciate a simple walkthrough.

Thanks heaps.
