I need to deploy multiple instances of the same application on a J2EE 1.3 server. I thought that this was not possible and was looking at JBoss with not much luck. Our enterprise app was written for the J2EE server and works fine, but we are looking at hosting several clients on the same box. Thanks in advance.

I'm not in the server stuff, but if it is not possible to deploy multiple instances of the same application on a J2EE server, then maybe you can start the server multiple times (with different configurations). [Probably you need a big box for this].

You'd have to have each server on a different port.
I'm not quite certain how well that would work with EJB containers and JNDI registries.

Ummm... you can't just create a seperate entry point (URL) for the second instance that still uses all the same components of the application? Pehaps the problem is not clear to me.

Thanks for the replies. I may just need to change the default port that j2ee uses.
