Hi.

I've installed a Redhat 7.2 Server, however I now would like to install some more packages from the Redhat CD's. Is there any application like the installation program that will display me a list of the packages so I can choose what I would like to install?

Best Regards

Andrew

GNOME and KDE each include a GUI RPM 'manager' kind of thing. GNOME's is called GnoRPM, and KDE's is KPackage, if I remember correctly.

I'm only familiar with GnoRPM really, but it opens to a view of what is already installed. You choose the install option, select the source path (point to your CD-ROM), then hunt down what you want to install.

Hope that helps some. If I were at home, I'd walk through it, but alas, sitting on a Win2k box at work... :) Matt
