I have a server set up with Apache 1.3.20 along with several other mods. I was just asked to add SSL to this server, but I dont want to have to recompile everything again. Is it possible to add mod_ssl as a DSO without having to recompile Apache again?
Well, with Redhat they have a separate binary rpm called 'mod_ssl' that you would install as well as the 'apache' & 'openssl' rpms. So it obviously can be done without a full apache re-compile. The redhat docs may help -->
