Installing mod_proxy on already installed apache

Dear Friend I send this question on this forum but I didn't get clear answer so please administrator let me ask it again .I installed apache 2.2.9 with enable rewrite and proxy but I can not find these modules in modules folder and can not work even if I copy it from another pc .
so please how to install it on apache which is already installed .

I am more used to unix apache, but what does "apache -l" return? Also is there an error message in your log files?
