Installing Microsoft Office 2007 Service Pack 2

Hi,
Whenever I try to install microsoft office service pack 2
it always fails?
I installed a KB967642 to fix this
but the problem remains?
Can someone please help me?
I have vista service pack 2
32 bit

"it always fails" isn't a very informative problem descritption.

To be fair to riptorn, that is often all you get told when Microsoft Updates fail - a constant source of irritation.

After installing KB967642 is the error message, if any, the same as before, or is it a different one? Also, what else is running (including applets in the systray) when you try to install?
