Has anyone installed McAfee Virusscan on their Citrix Server? Did you install clients for the sessions, or Vshield for the server.

Any experiences, help or suggestions much appreciated! ;-) Tom Jacobson ...

A lot of people I know swear by Trend Micro's product

I've never used the McCaffee product, but I would imagine that you would install the server part and use virus protection on data sources such as web/exchange servers.

My rationale for this is that the terminal server is just a dumb box providing applications to users. Viruses are not likely to enter this system via the server's floppy disk drive, but rather from the users' floppies (if they have them), e-mail or web downloads (if you've allowed them to download!).

I hope this helps.
