I need to know how to load Redhat OS to my Sony Vaio PCG-z505lsk laptop. I don't have a bootable cd-rom, so it wouldn't work if I reboot from the cd. I could access the cd drive and the Redhat CD. I don't know if there's a magic command I could type in to start the setup process. Like installing Windows, you can type in WINNT.exe and it would start the setup process automatically.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
you should look for something on the CD called 'loadlin' and go from there. Don't know exactly where it is but do a search and read the documantion first.

This is my first time installing Linux. It seems complicated, but I'll give it a try.
