Installing IIS on Win XP pro

Hi, I am trying to install IIS and it keeps stopping with an error, 'can't copy staxmem.dll' even though this file exists under the default directory it is looking at. Has anyone encountered this and found a solution ?

Hi you may try to set the RPC service login to "local service" instead of Network Service.

Hi Jeff,
unfortunately no it didn't resolve this problem. I tried removing SP2 which didn't work. Neither did running another 'install'. I actually had to format my c: partition and do a complete new install. Very annoying.

run
(enter following in command line)
esentutl /p %windir%\security\database\secedit.sdb
click ok and follow the prompts
