Installing HEAT on Metaframe XP

Has anyone setup the HEAT software by Goldmine on a Metaframe XP server? I am being requested to install it and I want to make sure that it won't break anything.

I used to work for them and I ran it on Metaframe 1.8 with no problems. Can't imagine that XP would have any.

Were there any tricks that you can remember to getting it to install, or is it pretty straightforward? Typical workstation install and then publish?

Yeah, that is it exactly. Are you running the Access or SQL Server version? I did the SQL version.

We are actually running the Oracle version (I believe), I know for sure that it isn't access.

Should not be any difference between publishing the app with an Oracle DB. I would leave HEAT where you have it installed now and just point to it, very simple.
