Hi,
I've been having problems installing GroupShield 4.5 on Exchange 5.5 Server. The Issue is after keying in the account and password that GroupShield would use to log on, an error occurs telling me that the account being used does not have sufficient rights. I find this strange because I'm using an account that has the Service account admin right on the Organisation Object. The error goes a head telling me that If I am sure that the account has sufficient rights, I should click ok to continue of which I do. Everything goes on smoothly until the installation is about 9 seconds to finish when hell breaks loose when an error is reported saying that there was an Internal error and that lead to the installation terminating prematurely.
Another funny thing is that when I check the services in control panel, I find out that all the services related to GroupShield have started and I'm also able to configure the Network Associates Group shield object in the Exchange Administrator without any problem and the GroupShield is also able to detect the viruses. So my question is, why is this account used being reported to be having insufficient rights when it has all the rights? Could the be what is leading to the installation to terminate prematurely?
Anyone with an idea of what might happening?
Thanks,
Shilima.
