Installing Exchange 5.5 on 2k AD Machine

Hello! I Have a Backup 2000 AD Machine that is running only AD and DNS. I need to install Exchange 5.5 on that machine. Exchange is going to be very small, 1 special purpose mailbox. Can anyone tell me if this will be a problem? I read that you need to disable LDAP on the exchange becuase it will conflict? Any other problems I should know about?

We run 5.5 on our 2000 DC and DNS and it works fine.

You have to change the LDAP port. This isn't really a problem, but you need to record the change. Later, if you install the ADC or migrate to 2000, you'll have to specify the nonstandard LDAP port to set up the ADC.

I am in the process of collapsing multiple domains into one W2k domain. Our multiple domains are either NT4 or W2k mixed mode. Our new domain is Native mode. Our Exchange 5.5 server is in our W2k mixed mode domain. Is it a problem moving that to a native mode domain?
