Installing driver corrupted boot

I went to install my wireless keyboard and mouse drivers and the installation didnt go well. The machine would only boot in safe mode, so I did and I removed the drivers that I had attempted to load. Now the machine boots to the windows opening menu, the flowing stripe on the bottom never freezes but the machine will sit on that window and never boot. What can I do to get it to boot completely?

Boot to a command prompt only, than type "scanreg /restore", to restore an earlier registry file, or "scanreg /fix", to try and fix the registry. Most of the time the /fix will work... "More Than Merely Names"
