yeah sure, it works.
hell I even run delphi5 under windows7.

one big advice, DO change the default installation paths to avoid any problem (UAC and stuff :). for example: I have 3 different delphi installations on my laptop and I installed each in their own folder under the root. (c:\delphi5, c:\delphi2006, c:\delphi2010)

What You See Is What You Get
Never underestimate tha powah of tha google!

You will get a compatibility warning with the startup of D7, but if you set the checkbox on that warning screen, then it won't nag you again after that. It runs just fine here on Win 7 x64.

TonHu - Are you using D7 & D2007 interchangeably? (Or did you mean Delphi 7.0 specifically?)

D7E is probably as high as I will ever go. I may eventually try Win-7. ;)

This might be of use generaly..

I Run D7 under Vista (there was some complaining and an odd start up issue i.e If I tried to launch a Project file from a shortcut would I get a windows error.
There are ways around this essentially not trying to launch the project file directly but launching D7 with the project as a parameter..
e.g. This is one of my 'working' shortcuts

Target =
"C:\Program Files\Borland\Delphi7\Bin\delphi32.exe" "c:\newsoft_projects\adventure designer\adv_designer.dpr"

and
Run in =
"C:\Program Files\Borland\Delphi7\Bin"

I have heard since then that you should install to a root folder i.e not 'program files', don't know if that would have any bearing?
