I've connected up a Dat 72 drive to a server running Solaris 8, but when I run the command mt -f /dev/rmt/0 status, it say's /dev/rmt/0: No such file or directory. Is there a patch I need to install. I have ran a devfsadm, but I still get the same. Any help appreciated.

Check that you can see it from the ok prompt

ok> probe-scsi-all

Hi thanks for that. Was going to do that, but I can't get a console connection unfortunately, due to a poor setup here. Long story!!! Not sure if there's anything else I can do.
