I'm sorry for this but it's got me ticked.
I've searched around and most of the info I'm reading is referring to the beta stuff.

I am developing in VS2005 and I am running Crystal Reports XI on my dev platform.
I want to deploy my project to my server.
I ran the CRRedist2005_X64.msi program on the server but it did no good.

I searched for the merge modules but I'm not working off a x64 platform for dev. What's the best way around this? Install XI on the server and develop locally?

My web page Error

An error has occurred while attempting to load the Crystal Reports runtime.
Either the Crystal Reports registry key permissions are insufficient or the Crystal Reports runtime is not installed correctly.

Please install the appropriate Crystal Reports redistributable (CRRedist*.msi) containing the correct version of the Crystal Reports runtime (x86, x64, or Itanium) required. Please go to for more information.
