Installing Crystal Enterprise

Can anyone tell me if it's okay to install Crystal Enterprise 8 on a server without installing Crystal Reports 8.5(Client Tools). I can't find anything printed that says you can install Crystal Enterprise without CR.

I can see options to install Enterprise if you want AFTER installing CR but not installing Enterprise on its own.

Help is appreciated.
