I'm trying to setup a web server with Coldfusion for our company. I'm trying to get away from setting up a windows box with IIS, but I'm having a heck of a time trying to install Coldfusion on a linux box. I don't want to give up, but would appreciate a nudge in the right direction
I'm currently trying to install it on a Fedora Core 3 box, I've managed to get apache up and running very easily, but when it comes to installing coldfusion it starts asking me for the following locations:
1. Configuration directory
2. Directory and file name of binary folder location
3. Directory and fine name of control script.
I'm very new at linux and I'm totally clueless when it comes to finding the location of these directories and files. Can I install coldfusion on the Fedora version of apache or do I have to install apache from the source? Any advice would be welcomed. Thanks!
