Installing Citrix XP

I am installing second Citrix Server trying to join an existing server farm.
b) Choosing to connect data stored locally on other server -option.
c) At Data Store server option - I type SERVER1 leave default port & connecting with Administrator option . But I get username cannot be found.. I believe this is not even attempting to connect to my SERVER1.

IS any ODBC has to configured ? if it is what settings should i add?? Please advise...

hi,
sometime I too, find some problem to join server2 to a
pre-created farm: but always after some while, I reached
target. I belive you have nothing to configure more (in
windows 2000 server, there is all installed).

Be sure of farm-admnistrator user/pass and see for
name resolution from server2 for server1

It's communicating with Server1 now fine. I can't still figure out how to Join a Server option(using Indirect acess). Got the same error message "Unable to login, user not found , password or domain" ... I know i am using correct username, password & domain.

just fyi: Server1 was 1.8 then it was upgraded to XPe quite somettime ago.. is this could be playing a role ???
