Has anyone installed CallPilot Reporter on a virtual server? I'm having issues getting the package to install and our phone vendor says you can't do it. They don't really say why or give any solid reasoning to, they just said you can't.

We're pretty pressed for space so I don't want to install and rackmount a new server just to see the package fail again.

I know you can't load CP Reporter on a 64bit server and it's not supported on Server 2008 yet. Other than that I don't know about a virtual server.

It's not 64-bit or 2008 - I'm trying to install it on a virtual 2003 32-bit server. It keeps telling me to reboot the CallPilot Server but our phone vendor keeps telling me no, that it'll work on a physical server.

I think they are full of it, considering I've run earlier versions on a virtual server but this reinstall isn't cooperating.

Yes you can. Make sure you use the console switch when you logon to the server though
